Q: Having trouble running Explorer's Bible 3D on a Windows 7 PC?
The Explorer's Bible 3D Adventure CD should install automatically when placed in your computer. Once the install is complete you will see an Explorer's Bible icon on your desk top. Normally, at this point you should be able to gain access by clicking on the icon and logging in. If your computer is running Windows 7, you may get an error message, or when the program opens you will be unable to select a lesson. If this happens, you will have to delete the desk top icon (highlight the icon, right click the mouse, select delete) and follow the instructions below:
- Select the Start Menu in the lower left hand corner of the screen
select My Computer
double-click the "C" drive
double-click Program Files
right click on the ED3D application icon, select Properties
select the tab "Compatibility"
check the box labeled "Run this program in compatibility mode," use the drop down menu to select XP (service pack 3)
select Apply, then Okay
Now, insert the disc in the computer, go to the Stat menu, select My Computer. You should see the ED3D icon under the "D" drive. Drag this icon to your desk to to put a short cut to the program on your desk top. You should now be able to access the program without a hitch!
Q: How can I tell if my computer has a virus?
The following are symptoms of an infected computer:
You continuously get pop-ups on your screen.
The computer runs slower than normal.
You type in a particular website but the computer takes you to another site.
You get warnings from your anti-virus software letting you know that a virus has been detected.
The following are some solutions that can help if you experience these problems:
Check your anti-virus software and make sure it hasn't expired and is up to date.
If you are using Windows/PC, you can download Windows Defender free from Microsoft.com. This is an anti-spyware program, which can be added in addition to anti-virus software.
Check with your internet provider to see if they are having connection problems in your area.
Q: Why won't my progress save to the assessment page?
Users must complete ALL activities in a lesson in order for the user's progress to be saved.
Q: Why is my software not connecting to the internet?
If you have a wireless connection there is a much greater chance of losing connectivity to the internet. Make sure you have a strong wireless connection, or hardwire your computer to the internet. For wired connections, see our Firewall section if you are experiencing problems.
If you have slow internet service or no service you may want to contact your internet provider to check whether or not they are experiencing internet problems in your area. They may also be helpful in finding solutions to improve your connection.
Q: How do I assess student progress in the interactive software?
There are three ways to assess students' progress in the computer software:
- Go to www.behrmanhouse.com and click the Assement button at the bottom left of the home screen. Click on the icon for the software your class is using. Type your class's unique serial number into the field labeled "Enter a serial number to assess your class." You'll be taken to a page showing all of your students' results.
- After students have completed all the activities in a lesson, they will have the option of printing out a lesson summary.
- For Alef Bet Quest and Kol Yisrael, students can e-mail the lesson summary directly to the teacher. After students complete each lesson, an email option will appear and they can type in their teacher's email address. Teachers may wish to set up a seperate e-mail account to receive this information.
Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
For U.S. orders please allow 1-6 business days to receive your order. Please call for exact timing.
International transit times vary depending on the destination. Allow 1-3 weeks to receive international orders when using standard international shipping methods (longer using a slower method, such as M-Bag). Express shipping is available for international orders. Please contact email@example.com for those costs.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
We can ship orders to any country, except those forbidden by U.S. law. We use United States Postal Service in most cases. The shipping fee will vary depending on the size and weight of the order and the destination. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, and/or fees imposed by local authorities as a condition to receive merchandise.
For exact shipping rates to your international address you can send an email of your complete order to firstname.lastname@example.org for a shipping quote. Be sure to include the complete shipping and billing address. We will calculate the cost and contact you upon receiving your request.
Q: Do you ship to Canada?
Yes. Standard Canadian UPS shipping rates apply. Canadian orders also have the option to ship materials using United States Postal Service. Keep in mind, orders shipped with USPS cannot be tracked, nor are they insured. Orders that are shipped to Canada are subject to separate tariffs, duties, brokerage fees, and/or taxes upon delivery.
You can send an email of your complete order to email@example.com for a shipping quote. Be sure to include the complete shipping and billing address. We will calculate the cost and contact you upon receiving the request.
Q: How do I return an item?
We will only accept the return of books that have not been used (torn, stained, or stickered), and sealed merchandise that is unopened. Returns made within one year from the date of purchase will receive 100% credit. Please allow up to 3 weeks to see the credit reflected on your account.
To return merchandise please include one of the following documents with the package:
A copy of the packing list or invoice that came with the order
An itemized list of titles and quantities of the books returned on school letterhead
The full name and street address of the institution or individual returning the items along with an itemized list of the materials being returned

Q: How do I place my order online?
To place an order online click on "Catalog" at www.behrmanhouse.com. You can also access the online catalog directly at http://behrman.powerwebbook.com/. There you will find a helpful catalog index and a search option.
Click on a product and you will find a detailed description, pricing, and suggestions for related material. Choose the quantity that you want to purchase then select Add to Cart. This will open your personal shopping cart. If you want to continue searching our online catalog simply click Keep Shopping and repeat the ordering steps to add items to your shopping cart. Click on Secure Checkout to complete your order. If it is your first time ordering you can create an account by filling in your information completely; otherwise simply log in with your existing username and password. If you cannot remember your username/password there is a link that sends this information to your email address. You can order anytime, 24 hours a day, and a confirmation of your order is sent automatically to your email. Ordering online with us is safe, secure, and simple!
